La Bresse and the famous chef Georges Blanc (three stars in the Michelin Guide) are a Mecca for gastronomy. The Dombes is the first fish region of France with its fresh waters and thousand ponds.

Vonnas is classified "Village fleuri four flowers". Water is omnipresent in the village, the Veyle and the fame are two popular rivers for fishermen. Vonnas is a must for its gastronomy with the «Village Gourmand» of Georges Blanc and his restaurant three stars in the Michelin guide.
The Museum of la Bresse
The departmental Museum of the Bresse is devoted to daily life in Bresse in the eighteenth century to the present day. It is situated on the former agricultural estate of Planons with a very large typical Bresse farm to Saracen chimney. It was inhabited from 1490 to 1992.
The Church Saint-André-de-Bâgé
The Church Saint-André-de-Bâgé is a masterpiece of Romanesque Art. Witness to the fervor artistic and religious from the end of the 11th century, it was built by the monks of Tournus.

The royal monastery of Brou is a rare masterpiece of the Flemish flamboyant Gothic of the beginning of the XVIth century. It was built at great expense by the very powerful Marguerite of Austria. The princely mausoleum was elected "monument preferred of French" by France 2 viewers in 2014.

Abbaye Notre-Dame-des-Dombes
The Notre-Dame-des-Dombes Abbey's is originaly built of Cistercian red bricks. Founded in 1863, it was designed by Pierre Bossan, the architect of Notre-Dame de Fourvière in Lyon and the Basilica of Ars.
Villars-les-Dombes is at the heart of the region of the Dombes. This is the first fish region freshwater France with ancestral traditions of fishing pond. The bird park is a paradise for birds, there are also a fauna and flora of exception in unspoilt nature.

Listed among the "most beautiful Villages of France", the medieval city of Pérouges, is an ancient city of weavers. The internal architecture is typical of the era of the middle ages with homes dating back to XVth and XVIth centuries with cobble streets and a fortified church.
