La Chaux-de-Fonds
La Chaux-de-Fonds owes its fame to watchmaking and Microtechnology. Destroyed by fire in 1794, the town was rebuilt according to a plan in a checkerboard pattern which is originality. La Chaux-de-Fonds is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage for its 'watchmaking town planning.
Saignelégier is the capital of the Franches Montagnes. This beautiful region is known for its majestic FIR erected in the middle of pastures. It is a stronghold of farming in general and especially the horse.
Delémont is the capital of the Swiss canton of Jura. This historic town is set in the hilly and densely forested Jura landscape. The physiognomy of its old town is marked by medieval buildings, beautiful facades and interesting museums.
