Visit Grenoble, the capital of the Alps and the Dauphiné. It is also a metropolis of arts and ideas. The stages
Grenoble presents richness in winter and summer. Lovers of heritage and science and technology, their seven museums have open their doors. The old town offers some real surprises, such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame and its amazing "ciborium".
The Domaine de Vizille is one of the first sights of the region Rhône-Alpes: the castle of the 17th century, the Museum of the French Revolution, the gardens over a hundred hectares, a forest with trees, a rose garden and a wildlife park.
Voiron, located at the foot of the foothills of the Park natural Regional of Chartreuse, the city has retained some traces of a medieval past. It is in Voiron that manufactured the monastery of Grande Chartreuse liqueur and Serpaggi, the century-old drink without alcohol.
The Lake of Paladru
The Lake of Paladru is the fifth largest natural lake in France. Exceptional by the beauty of its environment and its crystal clear waters, it offers a range of sporting activities and relaxation. The castles of Virieu and Pupetières are a few kilometres away.
The village of Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine has two protected monuments, the Château de Longpra and the Saint-Georges Church. They are located on a hill that dominates the Valley of the Jeffrey.
The cave of scales
The scales is located at the western end of the Chartreuse massif in a canyon carved by a torrent. The cave would have served once cache to the smuggler Louis Mandrin to escape the soldiers of King Louis XV.
The Château du Touvet
