Ambert
Ambert owes its reputation to the AOC Fourme D'ambert cheese. But this city's character retains an interesting heritage. His round Town Hall is unique in Europe and its Museum-moulin Richard de Bas is the last witness of the cradle of French stationery.
Arlempdes
Ranked amongst the «Most beautiful villages in France», Arlempdes is distinguished by its rock on which stands the first of the castles of the Loire, its source being at 30 km. The landscape is dominated by great basaltic flows pertaining to the volcanic past of the region.
Aurillac
Aurillac is the capital commercial and tourist of the Haute-Auvergne. Its old town has preserved houses VII and 18th centuries with its half-timbered houses. Aurillac is a gateway for the discovery of the Cantal mountains.
Blesle
Labeled "Plus Beaux Villages de France» Blesle has a medieval past important, which owes its existence to a monastery of women from the 9th century. Blesle is also home to mansions and half-timbered houses. The village had tanners and weavers who have contributed to the prosperity of the village.
Charroux
The rich medieval past, the village of Charroux is ranked among the "most beautiful Villages of France. Its streets and cobblestone alleys reserve old stones fans a superb heritage, nestled in the heart of the Bourbonnais. Charroux is famous for its mustard used by great chefs.
