The Citadel of Neuf-Brisach
Neuf-Brisach is the last fortified town built by Vauban at the age of 70 in 1699 on the orders of Louis XIV for the safety of the Alsace. It presents a remarkable vision of the most accomplished defense system of the 17th century.
