Principal civilizations in Paléolitique
The “paleolithic” term was created in second half of the XIXe century to indicate the paleolithic age. This period starts with the first stone cut by the man and covers the greatest part of the quaternary era. It includes all industries human, unbounded geographical nor biological. The first direction of the paleolithic word is thus chronological, the age of the old stone, or the cut stone, preceding that by the polished stone.
The paleolithic economy is founded on the natural exploitation of the resources - animal (the man drives out and fishes), food (it collects bays and picking of the plants) - and on the nomadism (it moves according to his needs).
